My Mum has been at Melrose Village for 17 years in the Independent Living section. I am so reassured when I see the community they have created that has made my mum feel included and valued. Throughout the 17 years, Mum has endured several challenges to her health and wellbeing and I have found the staff at Melrose have always been very caring and helpful, especially in the times when I just can’t be there. 

Mum moved into Melrose village about 7 years ago, in that time she has made friends with some lovely people. Whether they are getting together for morning tea, dinner, going on shopping trips or playing games, there is always something going on. One of the many benefits to living at Melrose is that Mum feels safe and secure with the knowledge that help is only a buzzer away and the fact that the residents look out for each other.
